A real insider’s tip for anyone who would like to spend some very special time in a rustic hut, in an idyllic location on the edge of the forest but still close to the center. It accommodates 1 to 4 people with a floor area of 40 m².

In the face of the Pinzgauer grassy mountains you can withdraw or spend relaxing holidays in good company. The Steinach Alm hut makes it possible and provides enough space for exciting journeys of discovery.

Pure hut feeling
In the Steinach Alm you will find a comfortable living area with seating group and rocking chair, a kitchenette with a sideboard and gas stove, a small cellar, a heating stove and an open fireplace for cozy evenings in the hut.
Cuddly evenings
Behind the living room, there is a sleeping room with double bed and a bunk bed, a storage room and a hygienic outhouse. Instead of electricity there are LED battery lights. A guest safe ensures safe storage of valuables.
Feel the nature
A small stream and a well are right next to the hut. The lawn is equipped with a barbecue area, garden furniture and a comfortable panoramic lounger.
Perfect start
The Steinach Alm is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountainbike tours as well as ski tours in the winter. Of course, our hut guests can also use the bike room, washing facility, service stand and the tools at Apartments Niederseer.
Great panorama
The panorama around the Steinach Alm is impressive, as is the breathtaking view of Saalbach, especially at night. The centre of Saalbach is about 15 min on foot.

Fancy wellness?
Another bonus is the free use of the wellness area in the Apartment house with shower, sauna, infrared loungers, toilet and the cozy relax room with TV and the ability to charge batteries. By the way, Apartments Niederseer is only approx. 400 m away.

Accessibility
Like the apartment house, the Steinach Alm is also accessible via the Bernkogel and directly via the Schattberg ski route.
Access
By car:
In summer you can drive all the way to the hut. In winter you can get to between 200 m and 400 m from the hut, depending on snow conditions. Snow chains may be required.
On skis:
The Schattberg ski route goes right past the hut. The nearest ski bus stop is about 400 m away.
